Smudging is a traditional Native American use of white sage that involves burning an herb and bathing oneself or an object in its smoke to clear away negative influences and restore balance.
This White Sage consists of 2"-3" branched pieces with attached leaves. The leaves are 1"-3" long and silvery-grey to yellowish-grey texture. When crushed they give off a sage-like aroma which comes from a 4% essential oil content comprised mostly of camphor and eucalyptol.
